Immerse your family and friends in nature with a guided program or paddle, or explore our 7 miles of trails and beautiful river on your own. Less than thirty minutes from Bangor, come and explore the wonder that is Hirundo!
Parker Reed Shelter , Gate 1
Located just beyond the Pine parking lot on the shore of Lac d’Or pond!
The Parker Reed Shelter Includes:

Indoor space for up to 20 people, larger gatherings welcome for inside-outside use.

Indoor fireplace and gas heater

Small kitchen with cooktop and sink

Drinking water available, however no running water on site.

2 well-maintained outhouses a short walk from the shelter

2 outside fire pits
-
BBQ grill and Picnic tables

Unloading / loading area next to shelter

Parking for up to 30 a short walk from the shelter (Please keep in mind this parking area is also available to the public.)

Lac D'or features a small pier (Please note- no swimming allowed)

A $50 deposit is required for booking. Final payment is due the day of the event.
Hirundo House, Gate 3
Hirundo House is ideal for small corporate retreats or training programs. Combining all the comforts of home with a beautiful view of the woods and boat launch at Hirundo, your group can focus on its purpose in a relaxed setting.

BIRTHDAY ON THE WATER
Located at Gate 3 & on Pushaw Stream
Take the party on the water in our kayaks, canoes, or super-sized 23' war-canoe. Paddle with a guide, or use our equipment on your own (experienced paddling chaperones required for unsupervised paddle party)
